Returning the Sun to My Mother

40 EpisodesRebirthFamilyFlickReels

In her last life, Melissa stole the letter the Whitmore family sent to Hannah and posed as their real daughter, living a life of luxury. Hannah, deceived her whole life, believed her birth parents found her vulgar, and drowned herself. Seven-year-old Lily, reborn with memories of her past life, vows to win everything back for her mother. With the most innocent face, she does the cruelest things, leaving clues through drawings, playing dumb while twisting the knife, pushing her mother toward the truth step by step. When the fake daughter breaks down publicly in the old mansion, when the jade lock closes before everyone, when Eleanor's closet reveals clothes from age one to eighteen, her mother finally reclaims her name. And the porch light, lit for over twenty years, finally shines on the one coming home.
