About The Beggar Who Pulled the Holy Sword
Ella, a slum girl, enters the Royal Magic Academy by royal grant but faces humiliation and bullying from noble students. She accidentally draws the millennia-old Judgement Sword, deemed the Chosen One. Yet nobles force her to strip publicly to prove her innocence. Seraphina, an S-rank talent, sets her robes ablaze. Ella blocks instinctively, blasting Seraphina till she spits blood. Rising from a resigned commoner, Ella awakens. She stands before the royal court as the Chosen One, bringing all her tormentors to their knees. She heals her brother and fights to abolish age-old laws discriminating commoners. Prince Leon’s kindness bends to interests and hurts her most. With her grit and holy light, she becomes the empire’s first commoner Paladin.
