About The Alpha Listened Too Late
Mira Vale once believed being Kael Blackwood’s Luna meant she finally had a home. Instead, five years in Ironpeak taught her that a mate bond could become a cage: every dress, carriage, and medical request passed through Sienna Frost, the graceful steward Kael trusted more than his own wife. When Mira’s human adoptive mother dies after Sienna blocks the Moonwell serum and Kael ignores eleven desperate calls, Mira asks to sever their bond. Kael only realizes the truth after Mira leaves for North Ridge, rebuilds her life as a wolf researcher, and turns her grief into a law that saves outsiders like her mother. By the time he finally hears her, Mira no longer needs him.
