When the Vlada Pack is wiped out by the Silver Blade forces, young Princess Aurora has her memory erased and left as Mia—the lowest-ranking slave on the Bonegnaw Icefield, where she endures ten years of abuse and degradation. Leonardo, Alpha of the Divine Wolf Clan who was saved by Aurora as a child, has searched the frozen wastelands for a decade. He finally rescues her on the brink of death at a slave auction and brings her back to Wolfkeep. Thrust together across a vast status divide and tangled in layers of misunderstanding, the two grow closer through conflict and danger. As Mia gradually awakens her royal werewolf bloodline, she uncovers the truth of her birth and untangles generations of grudges. In the end, Aurora reclaims her name and power, stands with Leonardo to crush the conspiracy, ascends as Luna of the Divine Wolf Clan, and the two are finally united as mates.
