About The Heiress Prevented from Returning Home
Eleanor gave up her billion-dollar inheritance for love, marrying Jacob, a poor boy from Mississippi. Three years later, pregnant and ready to bring her husband home for Thanksgiving to reveal her true identity, she instead finds herself betrayed by Jacob and his family. Convinced his mistress is the key to his promotion, Jacob abandons Eleanor on the highway, locks her in a trunk, and drags her back South—costing her the baby. On the brink of despair, she’s rescued by her brothers, files for divorce, and rises from the ashes to reclaim her life.
